Assistant Technical Officer

Full Time Permanent – 35 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Salary Grade 4: £18,421 – £23,026
You will assist the Technical Officers to provide an effective and efficient Property Management Service as part of the Customer Services Team within BHA and work closely with the contractors supplying services under our framework agreements.
Key tasks include assisting with the day to day management of Reactive; Void and Capital Investment Programmes.
It is essential that you have a minimum of CIH Level 3 qualification in Housing Maintenance; or a construction related discipline at a similar level or be prepared to work towards achieving this qualification as a minimum.
Much of the work involves communicating directly with tenants and other members of the public in a front line role. You will require good interpersonal and communication skills and we are looking for someone with a passion for delivery of excellent customer services.
You should also be self-motivated with the ability to prioritise and plan your own busy workload as well as be able to demonstrate how you can work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the team performance.
Your own transport is essential.
