Remuneration: £19,075-£23,844 pa (depending on experience and qualifications)

Supporting the Head of Human Resources, you’ll provide administrative and general HR advisory support across the business advising staff and managers on policies, processes and procedures as well as carrying out HR, training and Health & Safety administration.

You’ll need to hold (or be studying for) a CIPD qualification and have broad generalist experience of key HR issues. Confident, credible and well organised, you should have a passion for customer service and empowerment. It is essential that you have previously provided HR services.

Job Title: Human Resources Advisor
Remuneration: £19,075-£23,844 pa (depending on experience and qualifications)
Location: Duns, Scottish Borders

Working in the Human Resources team which provides the Group with its main resource for developing and managing policies, strategies, initiatives and services relating to Human Resources. Providing administrative and secretarial services in support of the HR function.

As the role involves producing employment related documentation which is expected to be right first time, attention to detail is key. The role also involves accurate recording and analysis of statistics and therefore you must be proficient in using Excel spreadsheets and able to manipulate data. Experience of data input and producing reports using people management software is an advantage.

You’ll also have experience of working in a busy HR environment and excellent people skills with the ability to deal confidently with all our stakeholders. You must also deliver required objectives within tight timescales. Versatile and flexible, you’ll couple strong negotiating and influencing skills with a passion for HR and the highest professional standards.

The ability to use your own initiative and work effectively without close supervision as well as displaying tact and discretion at all times is essential.
